• Content you create: Posts, images, comments, and messages you share within the app.
• Audio data: Voice messages you choose to send in chats. Audio is recorded only when you actively initiate a voice message and is stored solely for delivery to the recipient.
• Usage data: Basic interaction data (e.g. follows, likes) to provide core app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the VEX platform.
• To enable social features such as following, messaging, and content discovery.
• To send push notifications about activity relevant to your account.
• To detect and prevent abuse, spam, or violations of our terms.

3. Microphone Permission

VEX requests access to your device's microphone solely to enable the voice message feature in chats. The microphone is activated only when you explicitly initiate a voice recording. We do not record audio in the background or at any other time.

4. Data Storage and Third Parties

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (supabase.com), a backend infrastructure provider. Media files (images, audio) are stored in Supabase Storage. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

VEX is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
